Black&White Photos
As a product expert, I am excited to share the diverse and awe-inspiring landscapes of Iceland. The country boasts contrasting features such as black sands, white glaciers, and green fields, accentuated by the ever-changing weather and powerful cloud cover.
These elements create a perfect setting for stunning black and white photography, showcasing the harmonious interplay of light, landscape, and clouds. The result? Captivating images that add a touch of drama and elegance to any wall.
ICM photos
ICM, short for "Intentional camera movement," involves capturing an image in a single take while intentionally moving the camera in order to achieve a dreamlike texture. The resulting image is dependent on factors such as shutter speed (typically 1-2 seconds), the speed and direction of camera movement.
Color photos
Iceland is a country that offers a variety of landscapes. The southern coast and highlands are covered in black sand, while white glaciers stand against the blue sky. Additionally, there are numerous geothermal areas that showcase a wide range of colors. Although there are no real forests, the country is still green. The ever-changing weather, such as a cold cloudy sky or gray fog, adds to the mesmerizing contrasts.
Merged Photos
Based on personal experience, a composite image is created. First, an idea is conceptualized and then processed into an abstract image. These images are influenced by childhood traumas. It can be pondered why we exist on this earth. The artist's perspective of life is revealed through their creations. The symbiotic relationship between humanity and nature is depicted. Throughout life, individuals are entrusted with various responsibilities. It is our responsibility to fulfill them with diligence and care. As humans, we are mere instruments of a greater force. These images portray the impact of adolescent traumas and prompt us to question our purpose in life.

Pálmi Bjarnason uses the photograph to convey his perception of Icelandic nature. He looks for ways to capture the moment when light and shadow bring out the country's uniqueness and spirit. Iceland's nature is varied and magnificent and at the same time dangerous if you are not careful. The ever-changing weather adds to the diversity.
SigrunKr
Sigrún Kristjánsdóttir was born in 1961. She grew up on a farm in the western part of Iceland. She showed an early interest in photography and got her first camera at eleven. The landscape in the countryside influenced her artistic creation over the years. She had the sea, mountains, rock, hills and peat around her. When she started taking photographs seriously, nature in Iceland fascinated her. In photography, the most interesting thing is to capture the great variations in the landscape, express the beauty in colors and light, and capture what doesn't come back, like clouds.
