Svartifoss
The waterfall Svartifoss, in the Skaftafell national Park, is one of the best-known beauty spots in Iceland. It is neither high nor large, but owes its charm to the backdrop of columnar basalt which takes on a variety of appearances according to the viewing angle and the light.
